You are a magnet. What you think, you become. What you fear, you attract. What you want, you get. What you can imagine, you can create. What you see in your mind, you can hold in your hand. With powers like these, you must be careful.
Time for new; new designs; new insta; new phone; new personal blog; new personal branding; new self; time for self improvement; self re-invention.
Change is hard. But the author of this post makes a valid point about how “in the end, we only have one life, and so the time to start healing and living is today. The time to change is now.”
Personal reflection : Over the past year, I went through a healing process after a toxic relationship. I almost went back to school, I did try different jobs, and met interesting people. My discovery has led me to exactly where I wanted to be for years. I dreamt of being a designer for a startup in Silicon Valley. I knew and still know that was where I need to be further my career.
Such an opportunity fell into my lap, and I know God has a plan for me.
Before this, I was quite confused and unhappy. I kept blaming others for my circumstances, or making excuses. Overall I understood that it’s my environment. California has more opportunity for my skills. So now wisdom, determination and an eager attidue, I am taking initiative to change my life. I am excited to to find happiness and chase my dreams that will come true!
That thing you would like to experience someday, why not do it now?
The person you want to be someday, why not start working on being that person now?
The way of life you are putting on hold for when you are older, richer, healthier, less busy, prettier, thinner, why not start living it now?
I have learned that it is a mistake of gigantic proportions when we think that putting life on hold, shielding ourselves from evolving via fear and excuses, is in any way justified. It is a terrible waste of life and life’s opportunities to grow.
I understand that sometimes we need to acknowledge our circumstances. Life is complicated, and therefore caring for a child, an elderly person, or a sick one may prevent us from doing or being where we would like. Being a runner, and very active to keep my body and mind happy, I tend to be faced with all the free radicals that effect both my hair and skin. So I googled best skin multi-vitamins, and skin treatments. Listed on the top are two informative links.
From the WebMD link, it says to eat fruits and veggies that are good for your skin. I eat eggs everyday for breakfast. So I want to start eating pastured eggs, that have OMEGA-3’s, and also measure and top my oatmeal with antioxidant rich berries. A healthy diet habit I have tried before, and have helped me look my healthiest.
From the Allure skin treatment link, a lot of those are very extreme. I may not want to go there just yet, or ever. I am considering fillers may be – like later on in life, or actually may be not. I do not want to look too plastic, or put something foreign and totally unnatural in my face. Ekkk. From what I understand, if you decide to get fillers, you have to keep that maintence up for years. For years to achieve that same look until you are at a retiring age, and what if fillers do not look well as you age?
My father always did say, don’t you want to look good when you are older?
You can almost always also tell that someone has had work done. If it works for others, by all means whatever floats your boat, and keeps you happy, that is a good thing. But I don’t really associate with people with that lifestyle. Completely off topic, I have actually read the that Botox helps with Bruxism (teeth grinding), but that is a completely different article, and that is more dental surgery of the jaw to alleviate unconscious teeth grinding and clinching. Bruxism can also cause tension headaches. I grind my teeth at night, and I get tension headaches, and pain in my neck often. I have to wear a night guard I had fitted for my teeth as an early adult from the dentist. So that is a completely off topic subject…back to facial care.
I am trying to find if there are other methods to making your natural beauty look the best. I after all, want to age gracefully. And be a real authentic woman.

I tried it, and I love it! It helps with discoloration around my eyes, the darker circles that make me always look tired. I apply it in the morning, with cold spoons. Here is a great youtube video on the 6 Beauty Tips To Do With A Spoon from Michelle Phan! I actually learned some great tips from that video! She is an adorable blogger!
And I tried this U.F.O. facial oil by Sunday Riley, but years ago I tried Flora too, and I loved it.
I actually found Swanfish1981’s “Beauty Arsensal,” on the Sephora website with all these amazing products from Sunday Riley (and a Clarisonic brush).

Cool! Being 29, I think it’s time to start investing in good skincare, and say good bye to Target brand products.
I also want do do anther post about good haircare too….talking about the products I love for my hair, including Kenra, Kerastase, and Sojourn & a few other products for my hair. I need to stop getting it bleached, I do love the balayage. But last time I went, she like bleached it too much and sort of ruined my hair. But it’s time for fall.. perhaps time to get some low-lights and bond rebuilding treatments, like with Olaplex. I started with a clarifying shampoo. I’ll save it for another post.

I am so excited for the future! I actually am going to change my FAU major from Bio to Exercise Science and Health Promotion. It’s just my calling & passion! I am also enjoying the stuff I am learning now through Orangetheory. I have not yet taken the NASM CPT test. But in order to buckle down, I need to set a test date – it will force me to get into a good studying habit… 😉 I look forward to learning the science behind it all.
